Second group of Cuban citizens stranded in Trinidad and Tobago returns to Cuba.

Port of Spain, July 6, 2020. As part of the commitment of the Revolutionary Government to its nationals to guarantee them protection and facilities to return to national territory, a second group of 5 Cuban citizens stranded in Trinidad and Tobago traveled to the Homeland today. A month earlier, a first group of 31 compatriots had arrived on the island, so there are now 36 compatriots evacuated to Cuba during the health emergency imposed by COVID19. This new operation is the result of coordination between the Cuban, Trinidadian and Guyanese authorities and our diplomatic representations in these last two countries. #CubanosEnElExterior #NationYemigration
