Beirut, August 6, 2020. The President of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, sent a message of condolences to his counterpart Nabih Berri, following the explosion in the port of Beirut, which caused considerable human and material damage.
In the letter, Lazo Hernández states that with deep regret he learned of the tragic incident caused by the explosions that occurred in the city of Beirut on August 4.
"On behalf of the deputies of the National Assembly of People's Power and on my own behalf, I express our deep condolences for the victims caused by this event, which I ask be extended to their families." The leader of the Cuban parliamentarians expressed.
