Cuba in Kuwait

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

Cuba calls for an end to the new aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran and to prevent an escalation in the Middle East

Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the attacks perpetrated on February 28 by the United States and Israel, which violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

Cuban Ambassador received by Minister of Justice

Kuwait, February 23: Cuban Ambassador Alain Pérez Torres was received by H.E. Mr. Nasser Yousef Mohammed Al-Sumait, Minister of Justice of the State of Kuwait.

During the fruitful meeting, both agreed on the mutually beneficial opportunities for cooperation that exist in the judicial sphere. For his part, the Minister praised the Cuban health system and the quality of its personnel. He recalled with gratitude the support of our collaborators during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Havana, February 21, 2026 —Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, via his account on X, wrote:

Cuba poses no threat whatsoever to any country. Ours is a peace-loving and fraternal foreign policy committed to peace, friendship and cooperation. It respects International Law and the United Nations Charter.

It does not attack, threatens or interferes in the internal affairs of other States

It is inconceivable that the biggest and most aggressive economic, military and technological power of the world has resorted to the slanderous pretext of asserting that it feels threatened by a nation the size of Cuba.
