Beirut, September 9, 2021. The Cuban Ambassador, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, participated in a meeting of Lebanese journalists and media against the blockades and sanctions imposed today by the United States against sovereign and independent countries of the world, including Cuba.
The event condemned the aggressive policy and the system of illegal and genocidal sanctions imposed by Washington, unilaterally, against countries that do not submit to its designs and defend nationalist positions in favor of their peoples.
The participants also demanded the immediate and unconditional lifting of the coercive measures that violate international legality and the United Nations Charter, and recognized the need to unite to fight against the hostile policy of the U.S. empire against our peoples. (Embacuba Líbano)
