Cuban Ambassador meets with Piccolo Theatre actors to discuss Cultural Collaboration.

Nicosia, Cyprus - Cuban Ambassador Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero hosted a meeting today at the Cuban Embassy with renowned actors Marios Polydorou and Vasiliki Andreou from Piccolo Theatre to explore potential cultural collaborations.

During the productive encounter, the parties discussed the possibility of staging a Cuban children's story at the theatre. Ambassador Suarez Cordero presented several promising proposals that could bring Cuban storytelling to Cypriot audiences.

A solidarity meeting with the people of Venezuela was held in the meeting room of the Greek Journalists' Syndicate. The meeting denounced the maneuvers and aggressive escalation carried out by US imperialism against that people.
The event, which was well attended, was organized by the Greek chapter of the Network in Defense of Humanity and the organization "We Are All Venezuela."

Cuban Ambassador participates in exchange meeting with ALABC

 

Canberra, 3 September. Today, an exchange meeting took place in this city between the various accredited Latin American embassies and ALABC.
During the meeting, topics such as the importance of strengthening trade and business ties between Latin America and Australia in various priority sectors such as mining, energy and tourism were discussed. 
The meeting was attended by the President of ALABC and the Australian Deputy Foreign Minister. 

Ambassador Rodolfo Benítez Verson, Permanent Representative of Cuba, speaks at the plenary session of the Conference on Disarmament on the deployment of United States military forces in the Caribbean sea.

Madam President,

Cuba strongly rejects the current deployment of United States naval and air forces in the Caribbean Sea.

This dangerous act represents a grave threat to regional peace and security. It is an aggressive show of force that undermines the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.

It also ignores the commitment of the 33 member countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States to proclaim the region a Zone of Peace.

Cuban Ambassador receives members of the Liberian Foreign Ministry

A lively and fraternal meeting took place at the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia between Ambassador Indira López Arguelles and members of the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

The Assistants Ministers in charge of various areas of diplomatic work in the city expressed their opinions on how to strengthen bilateral relations, while also reaffirming their support for Cuba against the US blockade of the island.

The Ambassador congratulated them on their vote as a non-permanent member of the Security Council and thanked them all for their support in their diplomatic work.
