Cuba and Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in Disaster Risk Management
Islamabad, July 5, 2017. Lieutenant General Omar Mehmood Hayat, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, signed today in a simple ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in Disaster Risk Management. The executing agency for implementation of the MoU in Pakistan is the NDMA and the General National Staff of the Civil Defense in Cuba.
Cuban Minister of Foreing Affairs will hold a press conference
The Minister of Foreing Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, who is paying a work visit to Austria, will hold a press conference in Vienna, on Monday, June 19th, at 4:00 p.m (10:00 p.m. - Cuba).
The Cuban Minister will address important and current issues related to Cuban foreing policy.
The press conference will be transmitted live by Cuban television and radio, and also by the Youtube channel of the Cuban Foreign Ministry official site (www.minrex.gob.cu).

Havana, Cuba, Jun 16 (ACN) On June 16th, 2017, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in a speech full of hostile rhetoric, that recalled the times of open confrontation against our country, announced in a theater in Miami its government's policy towards Cuba which reverts advances in the last two years after December 17th of 2014 by Presidents Raul Castro and Barack Obama announcing the decision of reestablishing diplomatic relations and began a process towards the normalization of bilateral ties.
FOREIGN SECRETARY OF PAKISTAN RECEIVED THE AMBASSADOR OF CUBA
Islamabad, April 25, 2017. Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, H. E. Ms. Tehmina Janjua, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, who took the occasion to congratulate her on recent appointment as head of this important post. During the meeting, the main themes of the excellent bilateral relations were reviewed, while the willingness of the two countries to strengthen them, and to extend economic and commercial links to mutual benefit.
