Ambassador of Cuba to the State of Qatar paid a visit to the Ambassador of Eritrea

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the State of Qatar, HE Oscar León González paid a courtesy call to HE Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, Ambassador of the State of Eritrea to the State of Qatar and the dean of the diplomatic corps.

The meeting confirmed the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.

In 2020, Cuba, like the rest of the world, was faced with the singular challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.  The US Administration took on the virus as an ally in its merciless non-conventional war; it deliberately and opportunistically stepped up the economic, commercial and financial blockade, bringing about losses for the country in the amount of around 5 billion dollars.     

Ambassador of Cuba to the State of Qatar visited the Cultural Village Foundation Katara once more.

HE Oscar León González, ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the State of Qatar, paid a new visit to the prestigious Cultural Village Foundation Katara. He had a new round of fruitful dialogue with H.E. Professor Khalid bins Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General Manager of said institution.

The cultural authorities of Cuba and Qatar have a keen interest in enhancing and developing bilateral relations in the cultural sector. The Cultural Village Foundation Katara has a fundamental role to play with relevant Cuban cultural institutions in that regard.
