Belfast, 25 February 2025 - The Belfast community had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the Cuban reality and the social impact of the Cabildo Quisicuaba Project at an event held at Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, a renowned centre for Irish language, arts and culture located in the heart of West Belfast.
Belfast, 25 February 2025 - Cuban MP Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez, director of the Cabildo Quisicuaba Project, held an emotional and inspiring meeting with students from Coláiste Feirste, the only secondary school that teaches in Irish in Belfast. During the visit, Alemán was accompanied by Dr Valia Rodríguez, a UK-based Cuban and member of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign in Birmingham.
United Kingdom, 15 February - In the framework of his visit to the United Kingdom, the Cuban MP Dr. Enrique Alemán, director of the Quisicuaba Socio-Cultural Project, president of the Platform for Interreligious Dialogue in Cuba and of the Federation of Spiritualists of Cuba, visited St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, accompanied by the Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ismara Vargas Walter.
