Cuban foreign minister denounces aggressive US blockade
Havana, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) The tightening of the blockade is the central axis of the United States' aggressive policy towards Cuba, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez highlighted this Monday on Twitter.
Through his official account @BrunoRguezP, Rodriguez explained that this unilateral measure -imposed almost 60 years ago- is deliberately aimed at damaging Cubans' daily lives.
Cuban president inaugurates Havana International Fair
Havana, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday inaugurated the 37th edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2019), attended by more than 4,000 representatives from nearly 60 countries.
In his opening remarks, Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca stressed that the event takes place in very complex circumstances due to the tightening of the United States economic, commercial and financial blockade against the island.
Ambassador Accouche presents credentials to newly elected Cuban President
The new ambassador of Seychelles to Cuba, Lalatiana Accouche, presented her credentials to the newly elected President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, in a ceremony held at the Palacio de la Revolucion on Friday October 11, 2019.
The ceremony was attended by the Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.

Vice President Meriton sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Mr. Salvador Valdés Mesa, the newly elected Vice President of Cuba.
“On the memorable occasion of your election as Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, it is a pleasure to extend to you, my most cordial congratulations and best wishes” conveyed the Vice President.
Vice President Meriton added “I wish you every success in the exercise of your important duties. I look forward to working with you to further consolidate the good working relationship between our two respective countries.”

The Anti-imperialist Meeting of Solidarity, for Democracy and against Neoliberalism will take place in Havana from November 1 to 3 of this year, organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Central Organization of Cuban Trade Unions (CTC), along with the Cuban Chapter of Social Movements and the Continental Conference for Democracy and against Neoliberalism.
