Rector Magnificent of UNTL in Timor-Leste, received the Cuban Ambassador.

Dili, February 9, 2024. Rector Magnificent of the National University of Timor Lorosae, Joao Soares Martins, and Vice Rector Tomé Xavier Jerónimo, received Ambassador Alina Aldama, accompanied by Dr. C. Nordis Sánchez, Coordinator of Cooperation of the University of Cuban Sports at UNTL. The purpose of this meeting was to review the work of cooperation carried out by Cuban professionals in this sector and to project the work for the year 2024.

The Cuban Ambassador in Dili, Alina Aldama, had a meeting with the leadership of the Association of Cuban Residents in the country.

Dili, January 29, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador in Dili, Alina Aldama, received the President of the Association of Cubans in Timor-Leste (ACTL), Yoan K. Castells, and Madelis Román, member of the Executive Committee of the Association, accompanied by her daughter, Fernanda Castells Román, to reflect on the results of the IV Meeting of Nation and Emigration, while paying tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, on the 171st Anniversary of his birth.

Dili, January 11, 2023. Ambassador Alina Aldama received at the Cuban Embassy the Representative of the Telephone Company TELKOMCEL Ratbaghavati Bela Pakereng, who gave an explanation of the behavior of the service offered to the Diplomatic Mission and the Collaborators in the country. 

On the Cuban side, they thanked for the kindness for the services received, while consolidating the work strategies for 2024.

The Minister of Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Nelyo Sarmento, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Alina Aldama.

Dili, January 8, 2024. The Minister of Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Nélyo Isaac Sarmento, together with his Secretary of State, Jorge Soares, received at the Ministry's headquarters the Cuban Ambassador, Alina Aldam, accompanied by the staff of the Sports Brigade, to clarify the cooperation.

During this meeting, an invitation to participate in the May Day celebrations in Havana was issued. The draft Agreement for Cooperation in the field of Sports and the Agreement on Arts and Culture were also reviewed.
