Members of the Consulate General of Cuba participated in the annual event of the Association of the Consular Corps Accredited in Toronto (CCAT) held on the evening of October 18th.
The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto participated, on October 10th and 11th, 2025, in the 1st Festival dedicated to the "trova" musical style held in Toronto, "Cuba sings and blossoms."
Organized by Nancy Quetzal and Ernesto Espinoza, the event featured the Cuban "trovadores" (troubadours) Raul Torres, Fidel Diaz Castro, and Erdwin Vichot, accompanied by a group of artists of different nationalities who joined together, armed with guitars, violins, saxophones, flutes, and poetry to represent the ultimate expression of Cubanness through music.

The Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association in Toronto (CCFA- Toronto) organized last Saturday a traditional cultural event to celebrate the 164th anniversary of Cuba’s National Hero, José Marti.
