Cuban night in Trinidad and Tobago.

Port of Spain, June 17, 2023. A night dedicated to Cuba took place at the “Latin Nights” event that is held from June 12 to 22 at the National Library of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS).

The meeting allowed Cuban culture to be enjoyed through cinema, music, dance, literature and plastic arts and featured performances by compatriots residing in Trinidad and Tobago and members of the Cuban Medical Brigade.

The "Latin Nights" cultural festival was officially inaugurated at the National Library of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS) yesterday, which contributes to the rapprochement and knowledge of the cultures of various countries of the region and it will be a propitious occasion to promote the study of the Spanish language.

Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago will be represented at the VI Regional Meeting of CRE in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The compatriot Jacqueline Laguardia Martínez will be the representative of Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago at the VI Regional Meeting of CRE in Latin America and the Caribbean. She held a meeting with Counselor Patricia Pita Calderón at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters yesterday, on the occasion they exchanged about the General Call for the Meeting launched by the Network of Cuban Residents in Latin America and the Caribbean in conjunction with the Association of Cubans and Cuban Residents in Venezuela (ACCREVEN).

The US Newspaper The Wall Street Journal published on June 8 a totally untrue and unfounded information, according to which there allegedly exists an agreement between Cuba and China in the military area for the establishment of a supposed espionage facility.
