New health partners arrive in Trinidad and Tobago.
Port Spain, January 21th, 2023. This afternoon, another 36 health collaborators arrived in Trinidad and Tobago who will join the Cuban medical brigade that serves in this sister Caribbean country.
Upon arrival at the airport they were received by the Director of Cooperation of the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago, Anita Sohan and the Ambassador of Cuba on the island, Tania Diego Olite.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez presided over the usual meeting of experts and scientists on health issues on Tuesday afternoon, in which a review was made of everything undertaken during 2022 by Cuban science in the field of health.
The head of state told his interlocutors from the Palace of the Revolution: "Congratulations on the results. In any case, we cannot be confident; and we must go for more".
Cuban President remembers student leader Julio Antonio Mella.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Tuesday remember student and communist leader Julio Antonio Mella, who was assassinated in Mexico 94 years ago by henchmen of dictator Gerardo Machado (1925-1933).
In his Twitter profile, the Cuban president recalled Mella's last words when he was shot at the age of 25: "I die for the Revolution".
