From Trinidad and Tobago, Cuban compatriots demand the lifting of the blockade against Cuba.
Port of Spain, April 24, 2022. A representation of Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago raised their voices demanding that the US government lift the blockade against Cuba.
Making use of the audiovisual, they clearly expressed the consequences of the blockade policy imposed against our country and the damage caused to the Cuban people and family for 60 decades without interruption.
Cuba and the United States hold round of migration talks in Washington D.C.
Migration talks between Cuba and the United States were held in Washington D.C. on April 21, 2022. The delegations were presided over by Carlos Fernández de Cossío, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Emily Mendrala, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs respectively.
Both delegations reviewed compliance with the Bilateral Migration Accords as well as the mutual commitment to ensure a regular, safe and orderly migration.

Statement by the Revolutionary Government. The U.S. determination to continue NATO’s progressive expansion towards the Russian Federation borders has brought about a scenario with implications of unpredictable scope, which could have been avoided. United States’ and NATO’s military moves towards regions adjacent to the Russian Federation in recent months, preceded by the delivery of modern weapons to Ukraine, which together conform a military siege, are well known.
We call for the preservation of international peace and security.
• Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba The efforts made by the United States to impose the progressive expansion of NATO towards the borders of the Russian Federation are a threat against the national security of this country and regional and international peace. The government of the United States has been for weeks threatening Russia and manipulating the international community about the risks of an “imminent massive invasion” of Ukraine.
