Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago demand once again the lifting of the blockade against #Cuba.
Port of Spain, October 31th, 2021. A representation of Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago once again raised their voices demanding the lifting of the inhuman and genocidal blockade that the US government has maintained against Cuba for more than six decades. With images, recordings and improvisations they expressed the damages caused and the benefits that the Cuban people would obtain based on the well-being of society in an area as important as health, if Cuba were not blockaded.
Cubans in Trinidad and Tobago participate in a day of celebration for the National Culture Day.
Port of Spain, October 20, 2021. The Cuban Embassy with the support of a representation of Cuban residents and members of the Medical Brigade that provides collaborative services in this country, released audiovisual material to commemorate the National Culture Day. With a brief tour of our cultural roots, they reflected the identity and traditions that distinguish this small island and the Cuban of all times. Traditions that range from the typical way of dressing, the dances and the peculiar flavor of Cuban food.
Reason Is Our Shield.
Dignity, resilience and unity are our greatest strengths in the face of the dishonest and mean annexationist action that serves the interests of the historical enemy of the Cuban nation in its attempt to fragment and divide us to defeat us. After tough months of pandemic, harsh global economic crisis and a tightened and sustained blockade –that has ostensibly affected our people-, Cuba has started to revive its social life, public places and services, schools, tourism and other sectors of the economy.
Tribute is paid in Trinidad and Tobago to the victims of crime in Barbados.

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the terrorist attack against the Cubana de Aviación aircraft downed off the coast of Barbados, a representation of the Trinidad & Tobago Friends of Cuba Solidarity Movement (TTFC), of the Justice Movement Social (MSJ), the Cuban Medical Brigade that provides services in this country, and the Cuban Embassy today placed a wreath on the plaque in commemoration of the victims of the attack located at the Piarco Airport, where the aircraft stopped before leaving for Barbados.
