Cuba delegation to attend Trade and Investment Convention 2018
Port of Spain, 29 Jun 2018. A Cuban trade delegation, headed by Rubén Ramos, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, will attend the Trade and Investment Convention 2018 (TIC).
The delegation comprises representatives from 19 Cuban companies and about 30 officials, and covers sectors such as the food and beverage industry, biotechnology, chemical, sugar production, construction, public health, tourism, culture, science and technology, telecommunications, and household consumer goods.
Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago receives the Cuban Ambassador.
Port of Spain, 28th June, 2018. The Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago, Honourable Dennis Moses, received at the Foreign Ministry the Ambassador H.E. Guillermo Vázquez Moreno.
During the cordial meeting, they examined various topics of the bilateral and cooperation agenda between the two countries.
Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States special invitee to the Caribbean Business Fair.
Port of Spain, June 26th – Dr. June Soomer, Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), will visit Cuba as a special invitee to the Cuba-Caribbean Business Fair, to be celebrated between the days 28th and 29thof July of the present year, in the Hero City of Santiago de Cuba.
The event will provide the Caribbean businesses with a space to hold bilateral meetings with the aim of strengthening and diversifying trade relations and cooperation for the benefit of development and greater integration of Caribbean economies.
Cuba participates in the second edition of the cultural festival "Noches Latinas".
Port of Spain, June 15. - The second edition of the cultural festival "Noches Latinas" was inaugurated with the participation of Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Dominican Republic and Spain. The event is organized by the National Library (NALIS) and the embassies of the participating countries and took place between June 11 and 16.
The event contemplates that each country presents aspects of interest of its culture and traditions that go from dances, cooking to the presentation of audiovisual materials.
