From 31 August to 6 September, two Cuba-Türkiye Business Forums were held in Izmir, which included participation in the 93rd edition of the International Fair of that city, and in Istanbul, with the holding of the 2nd Session of the Bilateral Business Committee.

Traffic stopped in Ankara for Cuba, for Fidel and against the blockade
Friends of Cuba in Ankara carried out a tour on bicycles through avenues and streets of the capital of Türkiye in solidarity with the Cuban people, with the aim of celebrating the 98th birthday of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, to demand the elimination of the genocidal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the US against Cuba and to demand the exclusion of Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
