Cuban President signs book of condolences for victims of the earthquake in Türkiye.

On Wednesday afternoon, the First Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, signed at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkuiye in Havana, the book of condolences opened in honor of the victims of the recent high-intensity earthquake. The Head of State was accompanied by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anayansy Rodríguez Camejo, as well as other senior MINREX officials.

 

Cuba sends condolences to Türkiye following devastating earthquake

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, through the social network Twitter sent condolences and Cuba's solidarity to the people of Türkiye, after an earthquake caused the death of hundreds of people and material damage.
 

Tribute to José Martí in Türkiye on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of his birth.

The Cuban Embassy in the Republic of Türkiye organized a tribute to the Cuban National Hero, José Martí, on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of his birth in the park that bears his name in the city of Ankara.

Present at the tribute were a representative of the municipality of Çankaya (where the monument to the Cuban national hero is located), members of the Association of Friendship with Cuba "José Martí"; a representation of the Cuban community based in this city and members of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
