Cuban diplomat denounces that US blockade against Cuba has been tightened during the COVID-19 pandemic

Ambassador Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, Deputy Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, participated today at the Ministerial Forum of the 59th session of the Commission for Social Development, on theme “Promotion of multilateralism to realize inclusive, resilient and sustainable recovery from COVID-19”.
Cuba recognizes UNICEF´s support to the fight against COVID-19

Ambassador Pedro Luis Pedroso Cuesta, Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, participated today in the 2021 First Regular Session of the Executive Board of the United Nations International Children´s Fund (UNICEF), where he recognized the agency´s continuous support to the island for the promotion of education, health and the participation of every child and adolescent, in particular in the difficult context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
