The Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement strongly condemns the most recent inclusion of the Republic of Cuba in the unilateral List of State Sponsors of Terrorism of the Department of State of the United States of America, as announced on January 11, 2021.

Significant contributions by Cuban science to the battle against COVID-19

Havana, January 13, 2021. The priority given by the Revolution, since its very beginnings, to create the human capital necessary to promote the country’s scientific development, building required infrastructure and inserting ourselves, almost three decades later, into the nascent biotechnology industry under Fidel's guidance, made it possible for Cuba to respond immediately to the health emergency caused by the arrival of COVID-19 to the country, last March.
