Cubans with rights: an updated vision of Cuba today
New York, 9 December 2020. Cuba is proud to be among the countries whose governments have done much to achieve the widest possible enjoyment of all human rights to all their citizens.
Despite the United States' aggressive campaign against Cuba´s candidature to the Human Rights Council, last October 13, the United Nations General Assembly elected Cuba as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, for 2021-2023 term, with 170 of the 193 possible votes.
Negative impact of the blockade on the health sector is worsened in times of COVID-19
New York, 8 December 2020. The US blockade is the main hindrance to the implementation of the National Economic and Social Development Plan, the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs in the country.
