Press release from the Cuban Foreign Ministry: Cuba does not allow the United States to interfere in internal affairs
Havana, November 28, 2020. On the afternoon of Saturday, November 28th, 2020, the Director-General in charge of the United States of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernández de Cossío, summoned the United States Charge d'Affaires in Havana Timothy Zúñiga-Brown, to whom he transferred that "Cuba does not allow the United States or any state to interfere in the internal affairs of the country." He also asked him to reiterate that statement to the State Department.
The Helms-Burton Act: codification of the blockade and strengthening of its extraterritorial effect

The main example of the application and strengthening of the US blockade against Cuba has been the decision of the US Department of State, on 17 April 2019, to allow legal actions under Title III of the Act known as Helms-Burton, which came into force in 1996, under the name of the Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity Act (Libertad Act).

Mr. Sidi Mohamed Laghdaf, Permanent Representatives to the United Nations of Iceland, the Kingdom of Tonga, and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania respectively, presented today to Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, the copies of credentials as ambassadors of their respective countries appointed to the government of the Republic of Cuba, with residence in New York.
