Cuban Gov’t constantly checking recovery efforts
Havana, 13 October 2022. Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero insisted today on continuously checking recovery works being done to overcome damages caused by Hurricane Ian that severely hit the western part of the country at the end of September.
On Twitter, the official highlighted the continuous work for the reestablishment of the services most demanded by the citizens, as well as the commitment to achieve an efficient sugar harvest with results superior to the previous ones.
The battle against Alzheimer's disease is a priority for Cuba.
Havana, 11 October 2022. Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia (a syndrome generally of a chronic or progressive nature, characterized by the deterioration of cognitive function). According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is estimated that this type of dementia represents between 60% and 70% of overall cases.
