Categorical rejection of unfounded allegations of US election interference
At the end of July, articles in The Miami Herald newspaper and others from the McClatchy press organisation, to which the newspaper belongs, began a new slanderous campaign against Cuba, citing anonymous intelligence sources to back up the accusation, a common practice to which this journalistic organisation and its editors are accustomed when lies are the basis of the report.
The accusation is that Cuba is carrying out efforts to influence local electoral campaigns in the state of Florida in the United States.
Support for the removal of Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism and the lifting of the blockade was ratified in Wales.
London, 12 August 2024- On the afternoon of Friday 9 August, members of the Welsh Senedd, the solidarity campaign and trade unions demanded the lifting of the blockade and the removal of Cuba from the list of states that allegedly sponsor terrorism, in the framework of an event of solidarity with the island during the National Festival of Welsh culture "Eisteddfod" in the city of Pontypridd.

London, 1st July . The documentary Running for the Revolution premiered in London last Thursday at the city's emblematic Bolivar Hall. The film portrays the life of the two-time Cuban Olympic champion Alberto Juantorena, as well as episodes of the sports career of one of most iconic athletes of Cuba and the world, the only winner of the 400 and 800 metres race in the same Olympic Games.
