Cuba makes its clinic in La Paz available to the Bolivian people
In the afternoon of July 21, the Bolivian de facto authorities publicly informed that the facility known as “Clínica del Colaborador” (Cooperation Workers’ Clinic), which is owned by the Republic of Cuba and had been raided by law enforcement authorities on November 15, 2019, would be fitted out to assist Bolivian COVID-19 patients.

The Cuba Solidarity Campaign condemns the ongoing campaign by the US government to undermine Cuba’s international medical cooperation programmes. The most recent manifestation of this is the bill introduced by republican senators Rick Scott (FL), Marco Rubio (FL) and Senator Ted Cruz (TX) on 17 June, which aims to classify Cuban medical brigades as victims of human trafficking, and calls for punitive sanctions against countries which work with them.

London, June 24, 2020 - The Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Barbara Elena Montalvo Álvarez, participated this morning in the meeting organized by Canning House on COP 26 and the challenges for Latin America, in which Ms. Fiona Clouder, Regional Ambassador for the Caribbean & Latin America, COP26, presented her country's progress in this matter and called for exchange and agreement between our nations, in view of the challenges aggravated by the impact of COVID-19. The heads of mission of our region accredited in the country participated in this event.
