The Minister of Higher Education José Ramón Saborido participates in the World Education Forum in London, United Kingdom, where 110 Ministers take part. The presentations reflect the great asymmetries in Higher Education worldwide and, therefore, the great challenge that our country is facing towards the 2030 Agenda. Celebrations for the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution in the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland
In the Victoria Palace, headquarters of the Mayor's Office of the City of Belfast in Northern Ireland, Mayor Deirdre Hargey, inaugurated the activity to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, with the presence of Cuban ambassadors Teresita Vicente Sotolongo and Hugo René Ramos Milanes.

The Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba, committed to the solidarity and humanistic principles that have guided Cuba’s medical cooperation for 55 years, has been participating in the Program More Doctors for Brazil since its inception in August 2013. This initiative launched by Dilma Rousseff, who was at that moment the president of the Federal Republic of Brazil, pursued the double purpose of guaranteeing medical assistance to the majority of the Brazilian people, following the principle of universal health coverage promoted by the World Health Organization.

The Cuban Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Teresita González Fraga had a fruitful meeting with Lord Triesman, Co-President of the Cuban-British entity Initiative created as a program to establish a constructive dialogue between the United Kingdom and Cuba with the objective of setting some working sessions to promote bilateral relations. The group is formed by British companies interested in developing business with Cuba.
