Deputy Minister Ana Teresita González meets with Cubans in the United Kingdom

The first Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Ambassador Ana Teresita González Fraga, met with a group of Cubans living in the United Kingdom during an official visit to that country.

During the meeting, held at the Residency of the island's Ambassador to London, the high official praised the role played by Cubans living abroad in the defense of the homeland. González also highlighted their support for the struggle to lift the blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.

Coming from Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom for a bilateral visit, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Teresita González Fraga, is taking part in a tour through several European countries, expression of #Cuba's interest to continue deepening bilateral relations, friendship and cooperation. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the United Kingdom, Teresita Vicente Sotolongo received on the afternoon of April 26 a group of tour operators and representatives of the British press who will participate in the 38th International Tourism Fair of Cuba (FITCuba 2018) to be held May 2-6 at Cayo Santa María. This year FITCuba is dedicated to the Sun and Beach tourism modality, having the United Kingdom as honour guest.
