Embassy of Cuba appreciates solidarity in the face of the fire in Matanzas
Since the news about the large-scale fire that occurred in the industrial zone of the port of Matanzas became known, there have been multiple messages of condolences received from organizations, Cuban residents, US citizens and representatives of many other sectors in the US .
There have also been many initiatives aimed at sending donations and aid to our country, as well as calls on the US government to eliminate the measures that limit Cuba's possibilities in the process of confronting and recovering from these tragic events.

Caravans in the US demand the lifting of the blockade
On July 31, different organizations participated in car caravans and other actions demanding an end to the United States economic war against Cuba. The activities took place in a number of U.S. cities such as Miami, New York,Los Angeles, Oklahoma, Seattle, Baltimore and Milwaukee as well as other countries.
It was the 25th consecutive month in which these caravans are celebrated, a demonstration of the will and steadfast support of this organizations in the US in the struggle for the lifting of the blockade.
Cuba expresses condolences after flooding in Kentucky
The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent heartfelt condolences after all the damages caused by flooding in Kentucky, which had a death toll of numerous persons, including children. The torrential rains also caused material damage in the affected areas.
