The International Relations Committee of the National Assembly of People’s Power of the Republic of Cuba wishes to thank all parliaments, parliamentary groups, organizations, entities and persons from all corners of the world who have raised their voice in the last months in favor of the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, and expresses its appreciation for the annual support of practically all governments in the world to the claim of the United Nations General Assembly for putting an end to this cruel and illegitimate policy.

The culture of Cuba is a complex mixture of different factors and influences. The Cuban people and the customs, traditions, music, religious beliefs, way of life, etc. are mostly based on strong European, African and Amerindian influences and cultural links. Along that historical route, we share history, culture, religion, music, strong friendship and the aspirations and dreams for a better future for all.
