Cuban flag flies at the Museum of the History of African Liberation in Harare
The Cuban Ambassador in Harare, Carmelina Ramírez Rodríguez, raised our flag at the place where the Museum of the History of the Liberation of Africa will be built. Cuba has been invited along with Russia and China to be part of this project for their contribution to the struggle for the independence of African countries.
Zimbabwe and Cuba strengthen cooperative relations
Universities of Zimbabwe and the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Cuba (CIGB), held a virtual meeting to explore possibilities of cooperation in the sector of the production of medicine for human and animal use.
The meeting was attended by the Rectors of the Harare and Chinoyi Universities and directors of other centers of higher studies. On the Cuban side, the Ambassador of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramírez, Dr. David Curbelo, Commercial and Business Director of BioCubaFarma.
Main Zimbabwean daily publishes article "Cuba is not a sponsor of any type of terrorism"
The Zimbabwean daily "The Herald" published the article by the Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramírez Rodríguez. In the analysis, the Cuban diplomat condemns the inclusion of the Caribbean island in the rigged list of the US empire. Ramírez stressed that Cuba does not recognize any authority of the US State Department to qualify countries as sponsors of terrorism. These lists are totally one-sided and lack international recognition. They exist and were conceived to defame countries with which the United States has disagreements and to apply economic coercion measures, such as Cuba.
