CUBA PARTICIPATES IN EXTRAORDINARY CONGRESS OF ZANU PF

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in Zimbabwe, Vladimir Guerra, participated in the Extraordinary Congress of the ZANU PF that was held on Friday 15th in the capital of this country, Harare. The Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) sent a message of solidarity that was read by Vladimir, highlighting the strong ties between Cuba and Zimbabwe, and reaffirming the commitment to continue strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between both parties.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramírez Rodríguez, has been received on Wednesday, November 8, by the Protocol Director of the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Chipo Zindoga. The meeting reaffirmed the bonds of brotherhood that unite Cuba and Zimbabwe and the goal of further strengthening these ties in the coming years.

The new ambassador of Cuba in Zimbabwe recently arrived in the country on Tuesday, November 7.

Today, November 8, the Departments of State, the Treasury and Commerce issued new provisions and regulations to implement the measures aimed at strengthening the blockade on Cuba announced on the past June 6, by President Trump and included in the executive order entitled “National Security Presidential Memorandum on Strengthening the Policy of the United States Toward Cuba”, which established the policy of his government towards our country.
