Freetown, January 16, 2025. Norma Sánchez Águila, Chargé d'Affaires, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sierra Leone, received a courtesy visit from Dr. Charles Senessie, Deputy minister of Health 1 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy, both parties held a cordial meeting, in which they highlighted the ties of solidarity that unite both nations and ratified the will to work together to promote relations in the sphere of public health and cooperation, in the training and development of human capital in that sector.
The diplomat thanked Dr. Charles Senessie for his visit, reiterating her gratitude for the solidarity of the Sierra Leonean people with the Cuban people in their fight against the unjust and cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than 60 years.
