Freetown, November 28, 2024.Norma Sánchez Águila, Chargé d'Affaires, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sierra Leone, received a courtesy visit from Dr. Josephus Jeremiah, Director of Technical and Higher Education of the Ministry of Higher Education and Technical of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy, both parties held a cordial meeting, in which they highlighted the ties of solidarity that unite both nations and ratified the will to work together to promote bilateral relations in the political, economic and cooperation fields, in the formation and development of human capital.
The diplomat thanked Dr. Josephus Jeremiah for his visit, reiterating her gratitude for the solidarity of the Sierra Leonean people with the Cuban people in their fight against the unjust and cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than 10 years. 60 years.
