ICAP CALLS INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY WITH THE BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION OF VENEZUELA
The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples expresses its solidarity support to the Bolivarian Revolution of Venezuela, today victim of an illegal and undemocratic coup d'etat attempt led by the United States government, together with traitors and opportunists of the Venezuelan reaction and its lackeys.
We urge the World Solidarity Movement with Cuba to strengthen our actions in full support of the Venezuelan people and President Nicolás Maduro Moros, denouncing in turn the attempt of an imperialist coup d'état against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in claim of the permanent defense of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Peace Zone.
Today our sisters and brothers in the land of Bolívar stand proudly in front of the disrespectful actions of small groups that aim to fabricate an illegitimate leader, a puppet of imperial interests.
We call for international mobilization in defense of sovereignty, independence and respect for the Chavista Venezuela that elected President Maduro through the democratic and majority vote of its people.
We appeal to all the progressive and democratic forces of the world to raise a wall of solidarity that restrains the imperialist aggression and allows the development of the peaceful and creative work of the Venezuelan people in the construction of a peace and prosperity future for its people.
In the midst of the hemispheric and global battle in defense of the brotherly people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the constitutional government of President Nicolás Maduro, we ratify the statements of comrade Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, when he said:
"We strongly condemn and reject the attempt to impose, through a coup d'état, a servile government to the United States in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. We ratify the invariable solidarity with the Government of the constitutional president Nicolás Maduro ».
Today the dignity and sovereignty of our Latin America and the Caribbean, of the South countries and of the planet is decided in Venezuela. We are all Venezuela.
