El Partido Comunista de Suecia envia a Cuba y al Partido Comunista de Cuba felicitaciones por otro aniversario del Triunfo de la Revolución Cubana. También destacó el valor y ejemplo de la misma para el mundo y cómo aún continúa inspirando y ayudando a muchas de personas. Conciente de la lucha del pueblo cubano contra el bloqueo estadounidese expresó su solidaridad con este y exigió su sece de inmediato.

On this anniversary of victory, the Communist Party of Sweden extends revolutionary greetings to the people and Communist Party of Cuba. All across the globe people continue to draw inspiration from the revolutionary success that the Cuban people achieved under the leadership of Fidel Castro. Our solidarity goes out to the people of Cuba in their continuing struggle against the US imperialist blockade designed to cripple their revolution, the revolution of the people against imperialist capitalism and its exploitation. We fervently call for the lifting of all sanctions enacted against Cuba and its people.
The Cuban revolution has shone as a great example of proletarian internationalism, with its history of aiding national independence struggles and sending doctors and medical aid to where there is need. Even under blockade the self-sufficiency that socialism has achieved in Cuba is exemplified by its breakthroughs in medicine, the proletarian internationalism exemplified by Cuba's willingness to share it's advances with the needy of the world.
The Cuban revolution remains a landmark that shows that capitalism can be overthrown, that the working peoples can take power, and that socialism is not merely an idea, but a stage that can be achieved through popular struggle. We honor these achievements and seek to apply the lessons they offer to our future struggles.
