NOTE FROM THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CUBA IN ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA.

Friday, February 27th, at midday, the members of the collaboration brigades who provided technical services in Antigua and Barbuda under the APUA Water and APUA Electricity programs, returned to Cuba. During their stay in Antigua and Barbuda, the Cuban workers, worked side-by-side with engineers, technicians, and other workers in the country, making their modest contribution to the government's programs aimed at providing higher-quality services to the entire Antiguan population.

The Cuban Embassy takes this opportunity to express its recognition and gratitude to the General Manager of APUA, Mr. John Bradshaw, the directors of APUA Water and APUA Electricity, other executives of the company, and especially to the Ministry of Information, Communication Technologies (ICTs), Utilities and Energy, Melford Nicholas, for the support they provided at all times to the Cuban collaborators in the performance of their work in Antigua and Barbuda.

Once again, Cuba reiterates its full willingness, according to its capabilities, to provide its support and solidarity to the people of Antigua and Barbuda, in the areas and projects that this sister nation requests.
