Election of the Council of State and Ministres of the Republic of Cuba
Dear comrades, today, April 19, 2018 the Cuban Revolution has given a further demonstration of vitality and socialist democracy. The end of President Raul Castro's term marks an important change in the institutional life of the Island which, for the first time, will pass into the hands of political leaders born after the Revolution of 1959, that drove the dictatorship and liberated the nation from imperialism. We are sure that the updates of the social and economical model of Cuba will always be able to strengthen the spirit of the Revolution and the thought of Fidel. The leading role of the Communist Party of Cuba will guide society in this delicate but exciting phase. Our Party will continue to support the Cuban Revolution and be available to intensify the cooperation between our two peoples. We send a special greeting to comrade Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez for its new and important role al President of the Council of State and Ministres of the Republic of Cuba. At the same time we send a heartfelt salute to comrade Raul for his work in the service not only of the cuban people, but of the whole international communist movement.
