Namibia Cuba friendship Association is appalled by the act of terrorism when two Molotov cocktails were tossed at the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC, 24 September 2023. This is the second attempt of provocations and act of terrorism against the Cuban Embassy when guns were shot at the Embassy in April 2020.

Such acts of terrorism are an attack on humanity, hence we condemn it on the strongest term and the perpetrators of such acts should be brought to book.

Presidente de Namibia demandó fin del bloqueo a Cuba

El Excmo. Sr. Dr. Hage Geingob, presidente de la República de Namibia, demandó el levantamiento del bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero de Estados Unidos contra Cuba, durante el debate del 78 periodo de sesiones de la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas.

“Las medidas punitivas que se le han impuesto durante más de medio siglo a Cuba, han generado un sufrimiento terrible que ha empobrecido al pueblo cubano. Ese embargo injusto se tiene que levantar”, sentenció el presidente namibio, en consonancia con las excelentes relaciones que sostienen Windhoek y La Habana.

El embajador de Cuba en Namibia, Sergio Vigoa de la Uz, acudió a la embajada de Libia en Windhoek para firmar un libro de condolencias en memoria de los miles de muertos y desaparecidos que ha dejado la tormenta mediterránea Daniel, a su paso por la región de Derna.

Namibia has reiterated the need for continued unity among member countries of the Global South.

Vice President Nangolo Mbumba is attending the G Seventy-Seven Pus China Summit in Havana, Cuba, where he pledged Namibia's commitment to ensuring that the summit contributes to the development and aspirations of the block.

Vice President Nangolo Mbumba at the summit stressed the need for developing countries to divert their focus towards the advancement of science and technology in order to achieve the 2-3 agenda.
