The Hague, February 3, 2026. The donation from the Dutch Breast Prosthesis Foundation for Alas por la Vida was gratefully received in the province of Matanzas.
The aim of this project is to provide women with emotional and material support to improve their quality of life and self-esteem, reduce stress, and educate them on self-care.
Among the items sent are external silicone prostheses, bras, wigs, and special swimsuits for these attachments.
The president of the Foundation, Liny van der Heijden, and its treasurer, Piter van der Heijden, are pleased with the joy of the Cuban women who receive their aid in an act of altruism and humanity.
The foundation "Breast Prostheses for Wings for Life" has been supporting Cuban women going through this difficult disease for more than 18 years.
We thank Liny and Peter for their invaluable contribution to the well-being of Cuban women.
