Hilario Durán and his quartet Contumbao perform in Rotterdam

The Hague, June 10, 2019. Hilario Durán and his jazz quartet Contumbao, delighted the Dutch audience that attended the Lanstaren Venster in the city of Rotterdam on the evening of Saturday, June 8.

Beautiful pieces from his two latest albums which combine jazz with the most traditional Cuban rhythms were performed by the group, including Ernesto Lecuona (Black Dance) and a song dedicated to Havana.

Virtuosity, cubanness and music, mingled during the presentation which culminated with the audience standing and dancing to the rhythm of the pieces the talented performers gave away.
