Monrovia, Monday, March 20, 2023 - In the morning hours, Acting Foreign Minister Deweh E. Gray received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Elio Rodriguez Perdomo, who is on an official visit to the West African country.
During the cordial meeting, both parties pledged to consolidate bilateral relations in the political-diplomatic and cooperation fields. They also exchanged on issues of mutual interest in the regional and international spheres.
He was also received by the Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration, Hon. Abraham Korvah.
The Cuban Deputy Minister was accompanied in both meetings by the Director of the Sub-Saharan Africa Directorate of the Cuban Foreign Ministry Luis Alberto Amorós Nuñez and the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera.
