Havana, August 21, 2023 - In the context of the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, new health professionals from the Island and sister nations, graduates from different faculties of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana attended their graduation ceremony held at the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.
In the graduation corresponding to the 2022-2023 academic year, with more than 700 graduates in Medical Sciences, the ceremony was attended by foreign graduates from 30 countries, among them the first two Liberian graduates in the career of Medicine.
Aware that humanism must be the main essence of a health professional, both Liberian graduates will help protect life and raise the health level of the Liberian people.
