Asistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for American Affairs receives Cuban Head of Mission at the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

Monrovia, February 18, 2022 - In the morning hours, the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia by the Assistant Minister for American Affairs, Honorable Maxwell P. Vah, with whom she held a cordial and friendly meeting.

During the exchange, the two diplomats discussed bilateral and multilateral issues of common interest.

The Cuban diplomat thanked the Liberian government for its support in the African Union for the condemnation of the blockade imposed by the U.S. on the island.
