On the morning of this Wednesday, October 22nd, the popular Cuban singer-songwriter Raúl Torres shared with part of the collective of the Cuban State Mission in Canada.
In a jovial atmosphere, in greeting to the Day for Cuban Culture, the "trovador" (troubadour) offered four of his most emblematic songs: "Se fue", "Candil de nieve", "El regreso del amigo", dedicated to Commander Hugo Chávez; and "Cabalgando con Fidel", in homage to the Commander in Chief, the latter sung in chorus by those present, who were visibly moved.
Torres is in Canada, where, along with his fellow musicians Fidel Díaz and Erdwin Vichot, they participated in the 1st Festival "Cuba Sings and Blossoms," which took place in the city of Toronto on October 10th and 11th.
