“Beyond borders and blockade: Cuba's influence in the Caribbean” was the imposed foots for members of the Cuban Alumni Association, together with Cuban diplomats in Saint Kitts and Nevis, who addressed the issue of the blockade imposed on the largest island of the Antilles, from another perspective. The condemnation of the blockade and the unwavering position of the people and government of Saint Kitts and Nevis against this policy, was expressed by the speakers who participated, among whom the Prime Minister of the Federation, Honorable Dr. Terrance Drew, and the president of the Cuban Alumni Association, Hollis Prentice.

Casa de las Américas, through its Centro de Estudios del Caribe, convokes the VIII International Colloquium Cultural Diversity in the Caribbean: Resilience and Creation in Pandemic Scenarios.
