Monrovia, March 10, 2020.- Today, the Assistant Minister for International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Hon. N. Yaba Freeman-Thompson received in her office the Cuban Chargé d'Affaires, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera.
During the meeting both diplomats discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral interest for the benefit of strengthening the cooperative relations between both nations.
The Cuban Chargé d'Affaires highlighted the historical coincidences that Cuba and Liberia have shared in various international scenarios, such as the defense of multilateralism, peace and nuclear disarmament, among others.
The Liberian official, for her part, expressed her gratitude for the visit received and advocated for maintaining the excellent working links that have been maintained so far with the representatives of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
