Addis Ababa, April 4, 2025.- The Ambassador of Cuba to the African Union, Lucas D. Hernández Polledo, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Mr. Youssouf Mondoha Assoumani, Ambassador of the Union of the Comoros and Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps accredited to Ethiopia.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged on issues of common interest related to regional and international current affairs, as well as on opportunities to strengthen cooperation between their respective countries and with the African continent.
They also discussed the role of diplomacy in promoting peace, South-South solidarity and promoting African integration.
Ambassador Hernandez thanked the warmth of the reception and ratified Cuba's commitment to strengthening historical ties and friendship with Africa.
The visit was attended by the Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Mrs. Meylin Suárez Álvarez.
