Addis Ababa, October 10, 2025.- The Cuban Embassy in Ethiopia bid farewell to Ethiopian student Edlawit Gashaw, selected to pursue medical studies in Cuba during the 2025-2026 academic year.
During the simple and emotional meeting, representatives of the Mission expressed their best wishes to the young woman, who will be part of the group of Ethiopian students benefiting from the scholarship program granted by Cuba.
This initiative is part of the historic cooperation between the two countries and reaffirms Cuba's commitment to the training of human resources and the strengthening of the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity with the Ethiopian people.
The Embassy wished Edlawit a good start in this new stage and much success in her medical professional training on the island.
