Cuban Head of Mission is invited to the Sixth Intergenerational Leadership Summit

October, 28, 2024.- Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera conveyed appreciation to Ambassador Marjon Kamara, Chair of the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN), for inviting her to the sixth Intergenerational Leadership Summit of this continental platform created to advance women's leadership on the African continent.

This year's Summit is being held under the theme “Empowering the Next Generation of Women Leaders” and calls on States Parties to empower young women to lead the African continent into a new era of inclusion, equity and shared progress.
