Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia meets with Senior Advisor to the Office of the President on Presidential Affairs.

Monrovia, February 26, 2024. Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a meeting with the Senior Advisor to the Office of the President for Presidential Affairs, Dr. Augustine Konneh, at the Cuban Embassy in Liberia.

During the meeting, both parties discussed various issues of bilateral and multilateral interest, and expressed their commitment to work to strengthen relations between the two nations.

On the other hand, the Cuban diplomat took the opportunity to express her gratitude for her country's support for the adoption of the resolution condemning the blockade for the fifteenth consecutive time at the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
